My JOURNEY BEGINS when in my forties, I took my first steps towards learning guitar. I went to a piano store, where I took classical guitar lessons, I have currently about 350 guitar lessons under my belt. The guitar can be a very difficult instrument to master, but with commitment and desire can be attained through perseverance and practice this can pay off in a big way.

So if you take the time a look at my training and teaching philosophy my goal is to help beginners to learn, advance and improve their skill playing the acoustic and electric guitar in a clear, concise step by step process. I will help you achieve this.

Students who Live in the City of Toronto are welcome to contact us if they are looking for a guitar teacher/instructor. We have courses for Beginner, Intermediate, Spanish and Advanced learners. We will have a number of video lessons/per course to be viewed on Youtube.com. So that means that students can learn on line anywhere as long as you have a desktop, laptop or tablet pc and an internet connection. We also have Skype and Zoom video conferencing for individuals and group to interact with me. I also encourage students in all of the 4 classes to practice together via Zoom of Skype. This will allow students who are having trouble practising by themselves confidence when they get help from their classmates. We also have in class lessons from Monday to Friday from 10:00AM to 6:00PM by appointment (proof of vaccination required). This will allow students who have signed up with my 4 courses to have quality time with the instructor and to prevent overbooking problems. Lastly I will provide free complimentary books for students that pay for their courses. I will also recommend books on chords and music lessons to play for individual practice and to keep as information reference materials. From time to time I will upload course materials in pdf in my Google Drive accounts so students can download them anytime they need them.

Our main goal is to make grantsguitarlessons.com accessible on the internet to its membership regardless if you are at enrolled in the Guitar Fundamentals, Latin Guitar, Intermediate or Advanced level courses. We will do that by:

• Finalizing the 26 instructional videos for each of the 3 courses and uploading to our YouTube Channel.
• Preparing 26 videos for the Latin Guitar course on Grant Mcdonald YouTube Channel.
• Setting up the Skype and Zoom video conferencing channels in January 2022.
• Ensuring that students that want one-on-one or group video lessons will be able to schedule them (whether they be 30-60-90 minute) and get full value.
• Setting up the in class learning environment so that it is safe for the student and guitar teacher.
• Setting up Google Docs with lesson plans and important PDF files for each course.
• Recommending to students to purchase additional books as reference material as an aid to improve proficiency in playing guitar.
• Setting up a monthly newsletter to all visitors to grantguitarlesson.com who sign up via e-mail
• Setting up an opt-in page to provide free information for people interested in learning how to play guitar if they provide an e-mail address.
