Advanced Guitar Course

The Advanced Guitar course is open to graduates of the Intermediate course. Highly experienced guitar players are also welcome. Student who want to take the course should  learned their chords, know how to strum, can play songs and a few solos. They should have learned most of the Guitar Progression chart. The student can use manual and electronic techniques to tune a guitar and has a good grasp of rhythm and timing by using the metronome. The advanced course usually applies to the playing of the electric guitar although such techniques also apply to the acoustic guitar. The Student will learn the following in the course:

  1. Learn and know Chord Extensions.
  2. Learn Lead Guitar Improvisation.
  3. Learn How to use pedals while playing the electric guitar.
  4. Legato- Legato is a technique where you use your fretting hand to play multiple notes without picking each one.
  5. Making a guitar not sound like a guitar.
  6. Percussive Guitar and Alternative Tuning.
  7. Two Hand Tapping.
  8. Hybrid picking on the electric guitar
