Advanced Guitar Course
The Advanced Guitar course is open to graduates of the Intermediate course. Highly experienced guitar players are also welcome. Student who want to take the course should learned their chords, know how to strum, can play songs and a few solos. They should have learned most of the Guitar Progression chart. The student can use manual and electronic techniques to tune a guitar and has a good grasp of rhythm and timing by using the metronome. The advanced course usually applies to the playing of the electric guitar although such techniques also apply to the acoustic guitar. The Student will learn the following in the course:
- Learn and know Chord Extensions.
- Learn Lead Guitar Improvisation.
- Learn How to use pedals while playing the electric guitar.
- Legato- Legato is a technique where you use your fretting hand to play multiple notes without picking each one.
- Making a guitar not sound like a guitar.
- Percussive Guitar and Alternative Tuning.
- Two Hand Tapping.
- Hybrid picking on the electric guitar
What You'll Learn
- Learn the basics of the Guitar Progressions chart. That means the major chords, minor chords, Dominant 7 chords and major 7 chords.
- Learn Lead Guitar Improvisations
- How to use the pedals when playing the electric guitar
- Legato is a technique where you use your fretting hand to play multiple notes without picking each one.
- Build Mentality to Show as a Performance in Cafe or Public
- Hybrid Picking on the Electric Guitar
Requirements
- Graduates of the Intermediate Guitar Course
- Highly Experienced Guitar Players are Welcome
- For best quality of reception for on line lessons, you need a good laptop, a tablet or a phone with good speakers or headphones for correct pronunciation.
- For good results It is advisable to spend 30-40 minutes every day in order to have continuation in the learning process.
- Be enthusiastic, patient and be willing to learn.
